NBL: Pondering Nature and Challenges are Ready

Updated: Sep 6, 2022

After a long wait to have technology catch up with my desires for my book and the NBL challenges, the day has arrived. I have tried to have the book published using powerpoint and Video, but the outcome just wasn't up to standards for a great looking professional ebook. After having spent months and months on creating the ebook, I just wasn't happy with the results. Then, I discovered Book Creator. What a find!

Book Creator allows me to create an ebook with easy layouts, great graphics and voice options. I am just delighted at the results. The ebook can be sent to you as a link and you have complete access to it, to read at your pleasure. You can send this link along to others. My NBL: Pondering Nature is free, and I hope you like it. Please feel free to comment about it, and I really would like your suggestions. Frankly, I am not finished with it as I will be adding additional chapters in the near future. I have organized it so you get link chapter by chapter instead of the whole book.

If you are a teacher, parent, scout leader or just interested in nature, this book should be put into the hands of students ages 10 to 14. Older or younger than this is fine, but the target age is 10 to 14 for this book and for the challenges.

I am happy with the ebook, but I am really excited aibout the Challenges. The Challenges can be run in small groups, and need an outdoor nature settings. A stream, river a lake are great locations for the water challenges. A field or park is great for the air, soil, animal or plant challenges. If you have a group of twenty, best to divide into 3 or 4 groups as small groups give students more opportunities to participate. The challenges are designed to get students to observe, study, explore and experiment with nature. This leads to discovery and hopefully excitements. Students, hopefully, will continue with exploring the nature topic AFTER completing the challenges.

Let me know how it goes.
